Welcome to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital. We have been providing quality healthcare to Calaveras County residents for more than 60 years with a tradition of leadership and innovation.
As we continue our endeavor to provide excellent healthcare, we also strive to better serve our patients. Our three part plan is to focus first on the emergency department and to reduce emergency room (ER) wait times. Secondly, we are introducing a team of hospitalists - physicians who will be dedicated to caring for hospitalized patients. Not only does this ensure top quality inpatient care, it also enables primary care physicians to devote more time to their outpatient practices. And thirdly, we have recommitted to staffing our Family Medical Centers with the necessary physician coverage to provide the best possible patient care to you.
We apply an innovative approach to make visiting our hospital and family health centers not only a healing experience, but also more convenient.
